We ate breakfast in the room then headed to the Toitu Otago Settlers Museum. It is very large and very well-done. There are several themed galleries including Maori, settlers, gold, transportation, weddings, technology and more. The volume of artefacts is astounding, all presented beautifully. One of the better museums we've been to.
We then moved on to the railway station, which has beautiful gardens in front.
We then walked up to the Presbyterian church, the First Church of Otago (Otago is the region we are in).
We went back to the room to relax for a few hours, then went out and got some meat pies for dinner in the room. Later there was a dragon parade and fireworks for Chinese New Year.
